Peter’s journey in the Merchant Navy shaped his passion for the sea, where he spent many years at sea, navigating with skill and dedication. From his early days as an apprentice at Western Ship Repair to his supervisory role at Seaforth Welding, Peter’s expertise and leadership left a lasting impact on all who worked with him.

In 1995, Peter embarked on a new chapter with DG Electrical Ltd. This journey continued through its transition to Cammell Laird and eventually led to the founding of SeaKing Electrical Ltd in 2001. As office manager, Peter played a pivotal role in the growth and success of our company, bringing his wisdom, dedication, and warmth to every task he undertook.

Known affectionately as “Posh Peter” by many, his kindness and jovial spirit were known to all who crossed his path. His contributions to projects like the Upholder class submarines at Cammell Laird are a testament to his professionalism and expertise.

When he retired in 2016 at the age of 80, Peter left behind a legacy of excellence and camaraderie that will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we mourn his passing, we celebrate the cherished memories and invaluable contributions he made to our maritime community.

Our sympathies and sincere condolences are with Peter’s family at this sad time.

Rest in peace, dear Peter. You will be deeply missed.
