Hours of employment: 08:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday 08:00- 14:00 Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Necessary requirements: Time served , Experienced marine Electrical engineer.

Job summary: Must be willing to visit Marine vessels,In port or whilst on voyage. Meet with ships officers or fleet engineers. To clarify and assess work packages/contracts. Salary negotiable subject to qualifications and experience.

Key responsibilities: To support the estimation facility with accurate written specifications liaise with Clients.

Marine Electrical Project Managers

Job summary: Due to on going contracts for the Royal fleet auxilliary / MOD vessel refits and lifetime maintenance work the SeaKing Group are looking to appoint experienced project managers capable of leading a team of marine electricians. Salary subject to qualification and experience.

Electrical Project Manager – Based in Wirral

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Project Manager located in Wirral.

The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects from start to finish, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating with various stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks will include managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards, designing electrical systems, and leading a team of electricians and contractors.

Qualifications

  • Project management experience in the marine or industrial engineering sectors
  • Proficient in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, and Electricity
  • Experience in Electrical Contracting and project management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Experience in working in planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in MS office
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, control systems, safety and management is essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferable but not essential with sufficient relevant experience (HNC/HND/Time served apprenticeship then preferable)
  • Professional certification or license in Electrical Engineering is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years experience in similar role
